Just wanted to say a big....

And a big smile to you all

We have now reached our fundraising target! Thanks to all who came to our events or sponsored us doing various challenges. We raised £624 at the auction of promises and over a whopping £1400 during slum survivor. As well as these events we have done a curry and film night, a quiz night, a coffee morning, stalls, face painting, a barn dance, sold countless things on Ebay, made a cook book, had collection boxes and some very generous donations! It's been a busy few months but it has helped us bond together as a team not to mention increased our faith. So once again thanks to all who have shown their support to us through finance and thanks to God who really does meet all out needs and then some! 

.... really no backing out now!

A weekend of fund raising

Keeping up with our fund-raising efforts, what better way to start a long bank holiday weekend then a morning of gardening. 

On Saturday morning a working party headed on down to broad oak park allotments to help Margaret and Peter salvage an overlooked allotment so it can be used. It was a back breaking few hours but great fun too! Here are some pictures of our efforts!

On the 16th of June at 7.30pm we will be holding an action of promises - besides the items listed the lots included all sorts such as music lessons, maths tuition, trips to national trust sites, graphic design work, hand crocheted quilts, painting, tool sharpening, gym membership, dog grooming and much more! Booklets of lots will be available the week before the event so please pick one up from Beulah Baptist church or get in touch if you would like one!
